₹1.96 Lakh Crore GST Collected in July – Says Central Government
The Goods and Services Tax (GST) revenue for July 2025 has reached an impressive ₹1.96 lakh crore, according to a statement released by the Central Government.
In its official report, the Union Finance Ministry stated that a total of ₹1,95,735 crore was collected through GST during July. Notably, this marks the seventh consecutive month where GST revenue has crossed the ₹1.80 lakh crore threshold — indicating sustained economic momentum.
Additionally, the ministry highlighted that GST collections from April to July this year have shown a 10.7% increase compared to the same period last year.
In June 2025, the GST revenue stood at ₹1.84 lakh crore, reflecting a 6.2% growth from the previous year.
This consistent rise in GST collections reflects robust economic activity and improved tax compliance across the country.
