The 15 members who spoke to Sasikala on the phone have been expelled from the AIADMK.
The meeting of AIADMK MLAs was held at the party headquarters at 12 noon on Monday. The meeting was chaired by Deputy Leader of the Opposition O.K. Panneerselvam, Koratavaka S.P. Velumani were selected. Elections were also held, including Treasurer, Deputy Corada, Secretary.
Further, the meeting passed a resolution that everyone who spoke to Sasikala on the phone should be expelled from the party immediately and that disciplinary action would be taken against anyone who spoke to him in the near future.
Following this, 15 people who spoke to Sasikala on the phone were expelled from the party.
Apart from this AIADMK spokesperson Pukahendi and Theni Fishermen’s Division Deputy Secretary AKM. Alagharsamy has also been removed from all responsibilities of the party.
