150 crore corruption case, Andhra CIT police recommended to investigate ex-minister Roja

The Andhra CIT Police has recommended the Vijayawada Police Commissioner to investigate actress and former minister Roja in connection with the Rs 150 crore corruption case.

Actress Roja served as Environment and Sports Minister for the last 2 years during the Jaganmon Reddy regime in Andhra Pradesh.

Then, under the leadership of Roja, the state-level sports competitions were held under the name “Audhudham Andhra”.

For this, the Andhra government had allocated 150 crore rupees. In this case, on the basis of the complaint that there was an irregularity in the awarding of the tender for the sports competition, the police investigation is now heating up. The Andhra CIT Police has also recommended Vijayawada Commissioner of Police to investigate Roja.
