Leader of the Opposition Edappadi Palaniswami has said that the 2026 assembly election will be an election that will put an end to succession politics.

A meeting of AIADMK workers was held at Mel Chittoor in Salem district. AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi Palaniswami, who participated in it, gave advice to the administrators.

Addressing the event, he said that the Tamil Nadu government had received various awards because of the good performance of the AIADMK regime. Tourism Minister Rajendran said that he is coming to Natakamadi as if he is meeting people.

Edappadi Palaniswami, who criticized the DMK for bringing back the monarchy system, said that the succession politics will be decided in the 2026 assembly elections.
