For the first time in the country, India’s Indira Gandhi International Airport has launched a Trusted High-Speed Immigration Passenger Scheme.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the service at Terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport.
Under the fast-track immigration scheme, Indian passport holders and OCI card-holding NRIs do not have to wait in long queues at the airport.
Applicants under this scheme have to register their fingerprint and iris identification online. For this, a fee of Rs 2,000 has been fixed for Indians, Rs 1,000 for children and Rs 100 for OCI card holders.
