Punjab Secures a Thrilling Victory Over Gujarat by 11 Runs in IPL 2025!
Ahmedabad: In yesterday’s IPL 2025 match held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Punjab and Gujarat teams faced off in an intense battle. Gujarat won the toss and opted to bowl first.
Batting first, Punjab played aggressively from the start and posted a massive total of 243 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their 20 overs. Captain Shreyas Iyer led the charge with a brilliant 97 runs, while opener Priyansh Arya scored 47 runs, and Shashank Singh smashed 44 runs in a quickfire innings.
On the bowling side, Tamil Nadu’s Sai Kishore was the standout performer for Gujarat, claiming 3 wickets. Chasing a tough target of 244 runs, Gujarat fought hard till the end, but Punjab’s bowlers held their nerve, securing an 11-run victory in a thrilling contest.
