Coimbatore City Police Commissioner Saravana Sundar has said that two people, including Christian pastor John Jebaraj, have been arrested based on the complaint filed by the girls.

Police Commissioner Saravana Sundar opened a waiting room and a library for the public to file complaints at the Coimbatore City Police Commissionerate office premises.

Later, he told reporters that a waiting room with free Wi-Fi has been opened for the convenience of the public coming to file complaints.

He said that the police, led by the Deputy Commissioner, are investigating the suicide of a private college student in the Nava India area and that an appropriate investigation will be conducted into the complaint filed by the students.

He also said that Christian pastor John Jebaraj and his brother-in-law Bennett Harris have been arrested based on the complaint filed by the girls, and that no one else is known to be involved in the matter.
