Due to the development of technology around the world, many people are starting various start-up companies, the chairman of Microsoft, Bill Gates, has also started a start-up company. The surprising news is that the start-up TEERA POWER is a nuclear reactor.

Last week it began construction of its first commercial nuclear reactor in Wyoming, USA. The Terrapower Natrium reactor is being built while the existing coal plant at the site has been shut down.
The industrial road for producing REACTORS for this is set up in TerraPower’s laboratory with an area of 65,000 square feet in North Seattle, USA. The laboratory is set up as a block of stations for testing new materials and sophisticated methods of generating nuclear power.
As TerraPower has submitted its application for the production certificate of its Natrium nuclear reactor to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, TerraPower’s Chief Executive Officer Chris Levesque has expressed confidence that the approval of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission will definitely be obtained as there is not only private investment but also investment from the US government.
In the dangerous times of rapid warming of the world, the need for nuclear power is very necessary. And nuclear energy is expected to play an important role in controlling climate change.
The nuclear power plant is said to provide 24-hour, carbon-free energy and harness intermittent power from wind and sunlight.
The Natrium reactor is also expected to produce 500 MW of electricity, which is enough to power around 400,000 homes, while also producing reliable, ( ZERO CARBON ) energy.
The new method used by TerraPower uses liquid sodium as a coolant instead of water in a nuclear reactor and adds molten salt to store heat to increase output.
TerraPower’s Natrium nuclear reactor is expected to increase America’s self-reliance in electric power, while helping in the fight against climate change.
In this case, the fuel for the nuclear reactor must come from Russia, and because of the war in Ukraine, it has been interrupted, so Bill Gates has expressed hope that the reactor will start full operation in 2028. He also said that a memorandum of understanding has been established with the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) of the United Arab Emirates last December.
Bill Gates has said that TerraPower, which has been researching to build simpler and cheaper nuclear reactors since 2008, plans to start production on a new reactor by 2030.
