Three Killed in Shooting Incident in Renton, Washington; Police Probe Ongoing
A deadly shooting incident in Renton, Washington on Saturday evening left three people dead, prompting a major response from law enforcement. The Renton Police Department confirmed the fatalities and has launched an investigation into the incident, which occurred at approximately 7:30 PM local time.
Authorities have designated the area near Kirkland Avenue Northeast and Northeast 18th Street as an active crime scene and have urged the public to avoid the location due to a heavy police presence.

This shooting follows a July 11 incident at the Renton Transit Centre, where a 52-year-old man was critically wounded after being shot by unidentified individuals. That victim is now in stable condition, and three suspects—two aged 20 and one aged 18—were taken into custody in connection with the attack.
The Renton Transit Centre, located at 233 Burnett Avenue South, has witnessed previous gun violence. In February 2025, a 17-year-old suspect was arrested for allegedly shooting and injuring another man at the same location, as reported by local news outlets.
