Widespread rain in all parts of Kerala … Prohibition to go to sea …!

The intensity of the southwest monsoon is increasing day by day and it is raining widely in all parts of Kerala. Due to the continuous heavy rains in Ernakulam, Idukki, Kozhikode and Wayanad districts, normal life has been affected.
Today the Meteorological Center issued an orange warning to those districts.
They have also issued a notice to fishermen not to go into the sea till July 26 as the wind is expected to cross the Kerala coast at a speed of 50-60 kmph.
It is noteworthy that an orange warning was issued for Kannur district yesterday.
* Red alert if it rains more than 20 cm for 24 hours continuously
* Orange warning if it rains up to 6 – 20 cm
* Yellow warning for 6 – 11 cm
