However, in a more recent update, the actress shared an incident unrelated to her engagement—she opened up about being targeted in a scam. Palak issued a cautionary message to her followers regarding a stylist who has allegedly been deceiving actors over an extended period.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Palak disclosed that she typically avoids making such issues public, but felt the need to address it due to its repeated occurrence. She wrote, “I usually stay away from posting such things, but when something wrong keeps happening again and again, it’s necessary to speak out. There’s a woman in the industry who pretends to be a stylist, but sadly, she’s been cheating people—including several actors I personally know. She collects advance payments for styling assignments and then either fails to deliver the outfits or disappears without refunding the money.”
Palak went on to clarify that this is far from an isolated event. She pointed out that actress Simran Budharup had also been scammed by the same stylist.
“This isn’t just a single incident with Simran Budharup—it has happened to many individuals now, and it’s important for people to know. If she contacts you for styling jobs or collaborations, be extremely cautious and verify all details before agreeing. You work hard for your earnings, and no one should fall prey to such fraud.
