LPG prices across India depend on several variables, such as international LPG rates, fluctuations in crude oil, rupee-dollar exchange rate, customs duty, bottling and marketing expenses, dealer margins, and port-related charges. Indane LPG is offered in eight different cylinder sizes, with 5 kg and 14.2 kg variants meant for household use, while 19 kg, 47.5 kg, and 425 kg cylinders are mostly used for commercial and industrial purposes.

The price reduction comes amid predictions of a likely rise in global crude oil prices. Analyst N.S. Ramaswamy from Ventura pointed to ongoing geopolitical tensions, including news of U.S. President Donald Trump reportedly giving Russia a 10–12 day ultimatum on the Ukraine issue, which may lead to sanctions and secondary tariffs, affecting the global supply chain.

According to the report, WTI Crude (September 2025) is trading at $69.65, with a short-term projection of $73 and year-end estimates between $76 and $79. Brent Crude (October 2025) is priced at around $72.07, with a near-term target of $76 and expected to touch $80–$82 by year-end. Support levels are likely to be around $65 for WTI and $69 for Brent.
