This Indian-Origin Businessman Is Set to Fly to the Edge of Space on Bezos’ Blue Origin Mission
Arvinder Singh Bahal, an Indian-origin real estate investor, will journey to the edge of space aboard Blue Origin’s NS-34 mission on August 3, 2025.
An Indian-origin man is all set to travel to the edge of space as part of billionaire Jeff Bezos’ space tourism venture, Blue Origin’s upcoming flight.
Arvinder “Arvi” Singh Bahal, a real estate investor originally hailing from Agra in Uttar Pradesh, will be one of six individuals flying to the edge of space aboard the NS-34 space tourism mission on Sunday, August 3, 2025.
This will mark Blue Origin’s 14th crewed flight into suborbital space. The flight is scheduled to last 11 minutes, and the mission will be broadcast live, with a webcast starting 30 minutes before the scheduled liftoff.
According to an NDTV report, NS-34 is part of Blue Origin’s New Shepard programme, which has carried 70 people past the Karman line — the internationally recognised boundary of outer space.
Who Is Arvinder Singh Bahal?
Bahal, now a naturalised citizen of the United States, is a real estate investor with a passion for adventure and global exploration, having travelled from the North Pole to the Pyramids of Giza.
As per Blue Origin’s official website, Bahal has set a personal goal of visiting every country in the world. He holds a private pilot’s licence and has also undergone helicopter training. His upcoming journey with Blue Origin adds to a lifetime filled with exploration and thrill-seeking.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Bahal serves as the president of Bahal Properties, a real estate firm.

Joining Bahal on this mission will be Turkish businessman Gökhan Erdem, Puerto Rican meteorologist and Emmy Award-winning journalist Deborah Martorell, British philanthropist Lionel Pitchford, entrepreneur JD Russell (who earlier flew on NS-28), and His Excellency Justin Sun, the winning bidder of Blue Origin’s first seat auction held in 2021.
