WWE SummerSlam 2025 Updates: Naomi Retains Women’s Title in Triple Threat Match
WWE SummerSlam 2025 Updates, Night 2 Today: The second night of WWE SummerSlam 2025 is set to be a power-packed spectacle featuring six high-stakes title bouts across various divisions.
Night 2 of WWE SummerSlam 2025 is being hosted on August 4 at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The evening began with a triple threat contest for the Women’s World Championship, where Naomi successfully defended her title against former champions Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky. The action continues with the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship clash, where Becky Lynch defends her belt against Lyra Valkyria in a No Disqualification, No Countout, Last Chance Match. As per the stipulation, if Valkyria fails to win, she cannot challenge Lynch again as long as Lynch holds the title.
The night will also witness Solo Sikoa going head-to-head with Jacob Fatu in a Steel Cage Match for the WWE United States Championship. Meanwhile, Dominik Mysterio will put his Intercontinental Title on the line in a singles match against the seasoned AJ Styles.
One of the most anticipated matches of the night is the Six-Pack Tables, Ladders, and Chairs Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship, where The Wyatt Sicks will defend their titles against five elite tag teams including #DIY, Andrade & Rey Fenix, and The Street Profits.
The main event features a high-octane Street Fight between John Cena and Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship — expected to bring the evening to a thrilling close.
