‘Anyone Who Works With Salman Will Die’: Why Is Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Threatening Kapil Sharma?

Well-known comedian Kapil Sharma has come under threat from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, and this time, the motive appears alarmingly evident. Following a second incident of gunfire aimed at his café in Canada, a fresh audio message has emerged from gangster Harry Boxer, affiliated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. In the audio, he alleges that Kapil’s sole mistake was inviting Salman Khan to his Netflix show.
In the threatening message, Harry Boxer warned that anyone associated with Salman Khan would be killed. As per his claims, the recent firing at Kapil Sharma’s ‘Caps Café’ in Canada wasn’t arbitrary but intentional. It was, he stated, retribution for Kapil’s ties with Salman Khan, whom the gang considers their arch-enemy.
“The first and now the second firing at Kapil Sharma’s restaurant occurred because he invited Salman Khan for a Netflix show launch,” Harry can be heard saying in the audio. This is the second assault on Kapil’s café in just over a month. The gang appears to be issuing a broader warning not only to Kapil Sharma but to the whole Bollywood fraternity.
The audio doesn’t stop with Kapil. It goes on to intimidate filmmakers, actors, and producers across Mumbai, implying that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang is prepared to cause havoc in the entertainment capital. “If anyone collaborates with Salman, whether a junior actor or a small-time director, we will not leave anyone. We will kill them. We will go to any extent to eliminate them,” Harry added.
The threat has put the industry on alert. Security arrangements for several prominent actors are under review, and there is growing concern about how far the gang is ready to go.
Although Salman Khan has long been under police protection due to continuous threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang—particularly after the blackbuck poaching case—this is the first time such explicit and public warnings have been made against individuals simply for working with him.
