Yuvika Chaudhary Wants To Make Her Daughter A ‘Roadie’ For This Reason
When asked if she would raise her daughter with excessive care, Yuvika said she plans to do the opposite.
Prince Narula and Yuvika Chaudhary, who welcomed their daughter Ikleen in October 2024, are already clear about the kind of values they wish to instil in their little one. Known for their resilience, determination and strong personalities, the couple have no plans of raising a ‘delicate’ child. Yuvika recently shared her parenting plans for their little girl, hinting at bringing up a strong and independent kid.
Speaking on Paras Chhabra’s podcast, Yuvika discussed her goals for baby Ikleen. When asked if she would raise her daughter with excessive care, Yuvika replied that she intends to do quite the opposite.
During the conversation, Paras asked, “Are you going to raise your daughter also like ‘no sugar, no salt, delicate sa baccha,’ the way doctors nowadays advise to handle with care?”
“I don’t want to raise my daughter as a delicate girl. I want to make her rough and tough for this world,” Yuvika said firmly.
Reflecting on her own childhood, she shared, “I was raised delicately by my mother. But I feel that when you become a parent, you don’t want the same things for your child. You keep learning from everyone. I feel that the pampering I had at home made it difficult for me to adjust to the outside world. Delicate children face a lot of challenges, so I want my daughter to be strong. Main usse Roadie banana chahti hu (I want to make her a roadie).”
In the same interaction, Yuvika also spoke about the conversations she had with her daughter during pregnancy. She said, “During my pregnancy, I used to tell her, ‘You are very strong, you are a good person and you are spiritual.’ I told her, ‘Never fear anything, be kind, always be very strong, never give up, have the attitude of a fighter.’”
“I didn’t know whether it would be a daughter or a son, but I kept telling her to be strong and never get suppressed by anyone. I can see her leaning towards spirituality as well — whenever I do puja and she is on my lap, I give her the bell and she keeps playing with it,” she added.
She further revealed that their daughter already shows a strong-willed nature, just like her and Prince. “It is said that whatever you do in pregnancy, the child absorbs it. I am seeing that, and she is very stubborn, like Prince and me. She is actually a roadie baby. Aise hi baccha aapko samet ke rakhta hai (This is how a child keeps you together). When you see yourself in them, you constantly keep learning new things with them as parents too,” Yuvika concluded with a smile.
Prince Narula and Yuvika Chaudhary’s love story began inside the Bigg Boss 9 house. The two met and became friends, and soon their friendship turned into love. Even after the show ended, the couple continued their relationship and tied the knot in 2018 as per Punjabi traditions.
