Popular playback singer Neha Kakkar is in a celebratory mood as her parents mark another year of togetherness. On Saturday, Neha took to her social media handles to share a series of pictures and video clips capturing her parents’ beautiful journey over the years.
Alongside the post, Neha wrote, “Happiest Anniversary to my Cutest Parents!!!!” Her heartfelt tribute drew warm wishes from fans, who joined in congratulating the couple. The carousel featured a touching moment of Neha’s father singing for her mother, along with candid clips of the two dancing, chatting, and enjoying each other’s company. It also included glimpses of them travelling together, walking hand in hand at scenic destinations.
Neha’s elder sister, singer Sonu Kakkar, also shared a special post for the occasion. She uploaded photographs with her parents and a striking portrait of the duo, captioned simply, “Happy Anniversary Mamma Papa.”
Interestingly, the anniversary wishes come shortly after the Kakkar siblings made headlines for their strained relationship. In a surprising social media post, Sonu announced that she was cutting ties with her younger siblings, Neha and Tony Kakkar, citing deep emotional distress. On X (formerly Twitter), she wrote, “Deeply devastated to inform you all that I am no longer a sister to the two talented Superstars, Tony Kakkar and Neha Kakkar. This decision of mine comes from a place of deep emotional pain, and I am truly disheartened today.” The post was later deleted.
Sonu Kakkar has worked alongside Tony and Neha on several projects. She is best known for songs like Babuji Zara Dheere Chalo, Yeh Kasoor, and Akhiyan Nu Rehn De, and has lent her voice to tracks in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, and Nepali. Neha Kakkar, who began her career with Indian Idol Season 2 in 2005, has since become one of Bollywood’s most popular singers, delivering hits such as Kala Chashma, Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi, and O Saki Saki.
