Pakistani Intruder Shot and Caught by BSF on J&K’s Kathua International Border
A Pakistani intruder attempting to cross into Indian territory was shot and apprehended by the Border Security Force (BSF) on Monday along the International Border in Kathua district, Jammu and Kashmir. The incident occurred in the Rajbagh area, where BSF personnel noticed suspicious movement near the border fence. The intruder sustained injuries during the encounter but was later captured.
Further details about the intruder have not yet been disclosed.
This follows a similar incident in May when BSF troops apprehended a 65-year-old Pakistani man near the International Border in Amritsar, Punjab. Found carrying Pakistani currency but no suspicious items, the individual was handed over to local police after questioning.
