You Won’t Believe Why Divya Agarwal Turned Down Khatron Ke Khiladi
Divya Agarwal, known for her appearances in several reality shows, has revealed why she chose not to participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi, hosted by Rohit Shetty.
During a recent live interaction on social media, the actress spoke about her fans, career decisions, and life after marriage. Popular for her bold presence in reality series such as Splitsvilla, Ace of Space, and Bigg Boss OTT, Divya was asked why she had never taken part in Khatron Ke Khiladi.
On reading the question, Divya burst into laughter and replied, “Mujhe keedon se bahut zyada darr lagta hai,” explaining that she is extremely afraid of creepy crawlies. “I will appear in many shows, but not reality shows,” she added.
The actress further shared that she has received multiple offers from the Telugu entertainment industry and is open to exploring acting roles there. This marks a shift in her career focus, as she now seems more inclined towards regional cinema and fictional characters.
Opening up about her body image and fitness journey, Divya said, “It’s all work and process. I don’t feel bad when I gain weight or get overly excited when I lose it. I prefer to be fit, and it’s a healthy process.”
Divya seems to be enjoying a more balanced and thoughtful phase of life after tying the knot with businessman Apurva Padgaonkar in February last year. The couple had a traditional Marathi wedding ceremony in Mumbai.
A few months ago, rumours about Divya and Apurva’s divorce began circulating on social media. Responding to the speculation, the actress clarified, “I made no noise. I gave no comments or posts. I deleted 2,500 posts. Yet the media only chose to focus on my marriage. It’s funny how people see and expect things from me. I have always done what no one expected me to do. And what are they expecting now — babies or divorce? Neither is happening.”
On the professional front, Divya has featured in web series like Cartel, Puncch Beat, Abhay, and Fuh Se Fantasy. She has also launched her own dance academy, Elevate Dance Institute.
