The United Janata Dal (UJD) is reportedly seeking four seats in the new cabinet headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has demanded that the minister assign responsibilities according to the members of parliament.

40 MP in Bihar state. The BJP won 17 seats and the United Janata Dal won 16 seats.

Of these, BJP members hold 5 cabinet responsibilities. It has been reported that the party has demanded that 4 cabinet responsibilities be assigned to the United Janata Party, which has won 16 seats.
