In Kerala, in-car catering service has been introduced in restaurants owned by the tourism sector to promote tourism.
In Kerala, the normal life of the people has been severely affected by the curfew imposed to curb the spread of the corona virus. Going out with their family and not being able to eat at restaurants. The state government has introduced a scheme to address this grievance of the customers and to improve the state tourism sector.
Through this scheme, people can buy and eat in their cars in restaurants managed by the tourism department across the state, which was launched by the state tourism minister Mohammad Riyaz.
