The number of people being treated for corona infection in our country has dropped to 7,98,656 after 73 days, according to a press release issued by the Federal Ministry of Health on Friday.
The press release further states:
The daily incidence of corona in India continues to decline. The corona was confirmed to 62,480 people in the 24 hours to Friday morning. For the 11th day in a row, less than one lakh new infections have been reported daily.
The number of people being treated for corona infection in our country has dropped to 7,98,656 after 73 days. This is 2.78 per cent of the country’s total population.
For the 36th day in a row, the number of people recovering daily is higher than the number of new infections. 88,977 recovered in a single day and returned home. So far 2,85,80,647 have been cured of the disease.
Daily corona mortality in the country has dropped to less than 2,000. It has dropped to 1,587 in a single day. So far 3,83,490 people have died from the virus.
19,29,476 tests have been conducted in the last 24 hours and a total of 38,71,67,696 tests have been conducted in India so far.
According to the report, 26,89,60,399 vaccines have been administered under the nationwide vaccination program.
