The district collector has said that departmental action will be taken against the officials who do not follow the anti-narcotics measures in Vellore.
A consultation meeting was held in Vellore under the leadership of District Collector Subbuletsumi on measures to eradicate drugs and counterfeit illict liquor.
Speaking then, he said that special committees will be set up to monitor drug sales and take action and departmental action will be taken against officials who do not follow their duties in drug eradication activities.
