As 8 people surrendered in the Armstrong murder case that shook the whole of Tamil Nadu, the police are actively investigating them. Meanwhile, police officer Azra Garg gave an interview to the media regarding the murder.
Armstrong, who was the president of the Bahujan Samaj Party in Tamil Nadu, was hacked to death at around 7 pm yesterday. As this incident caused great shocks across Tamil Nadu, the police department immediately formed 10 special forces to arrest the killers.
8 people arrested: Based on the CCTV footage from the scene of the murder, while the police were looking for the killers, 8 people surrendered at the Anna Nagar police station in the night. Arkadu Suresh’s brother Balu, Rahu, Thiruvenkadam, Thirumalai, Selvaraj, Manivannan, Santhosh, Arul have been arrested.

Azra Karg interview: He was admitted to the hospital for treatment and died due to treatment. In connection with this incident, 10 separate police forces were formed and 8 criminals were arrested within a few hours of the crime. “The investigation of the arrested criminals is going on,” it said.

Armstrong Murder: Armstrong was the Tamil State President of the Bahujan Samaj Party. He was 52 years old and lived in Venugopal Sami Street, Perambur, Chennai. He is building a new large house there. As a result, he temporarily lived in an apartment in Ayanavaram, Chennai. Every night he is talking to friends and party members near the new house he is building in Perampur.
6 people on bikes: Like that, he was talking last night around 7pm. Then a gang of 6 people who came there on 3 bikes surrounded Armstrong with a knife in hand and attacked him. At this, Armstrong fell to the ground screaming in a pool of blood. His friends Veeramani and Balaji who were with him tried to catch the killers.
But by then, the 6 killers had escaped. In this, Balaji also got cut. Armstrong, who was lying in a pool of blood, was loaded into an ambulance van and taken to a private hospital in Thousand Lamp. But the doctors who examined him declared him dead. Armstrong’s body was taken to Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital for post-mortem.
8 Saran: Bahujan Samaj Party workers and a large number of public gathered at the place of murder. Police headed by Deputy Commissioner Iswaran rushed to the spot and investigated. All six of the killers wore uniforms worn by food delivery workers. Police were alerted across Chennai to nab them. Eight people have surrendered.
