Tamil Nadu BJP leader Annamalai urged the CBI to investigate the murder case of Bahujan Samaj state president Armstrong.
Annamalai visited Armstrong’s residence in Chennai to pay his respects and met his wife and consoled him.
Annamalai later spoke to the media.
Condolences to the Armstrong family who was the state president of the BSP for 20 years. An incident like this has not happened in Tamil Nadu and should not have happened. A party leader is killed in his own place. The Tamil Nadu BJP strongly condemns this.
National President Natta and others inquired about this over phone. Union Minister of State L. Murugan is going to meet the media in Delhi about this. He alleged that there has been an increase in the killing of caste leaders in Tamil Nadu.
Union Minister Amit Shah said that he will report to the Human Rights Commissioner tomorrow. It should be investigated whether it was a political assassination. He said that the real culprits have not been arrested. He accused Chennai of being the capital of mercenaries.
The Chief Minister is not taking this seriously, I don’t know what he is taking seriously, he is acting at the speed of a tortoise without the leap of a tiger
He said that there is no place for mercenaries in Tamil Nadu.
I have informed the late leader’s family that the party will always be with you beyond politics. If a BJP worker is involved in a case, why is the DMK going to save them?
He said that there is no history of anti-social elements joining our party.
