AIADMK MR Vijayabaskar arrested by CBCID in Rs 100 crore land grabbing case

CBCID police arrested AIADMK former minister M.R.Vijayabaskar in a case of land grabbing worth Rs 100 crore.

Former minister M.R.Vijayabaskar is said to have forged a deed of 22 acres of land worth 100 crore rupees belonging to Prakash of Kuppichipalayam, Karur district.

Moreover, the Karur District Crime Branch police have registered a case against Mr. Vijayabaskar, his brother Shekhar and others for threatening to kill Prakash. Meanwhile, the petition filed by him seeking anticipatory bail is pending in the Madurai branch of the High Court.

In this situation, the CBCID police have arrested Mr. Vijayabaskar, who was absconding for more than 40 days, in Kerala. It has been reported that the police will bring him to Tamil Nadu and present him in court.
