Judge Karunanidhi was tragically killed when a two-wheeler hit him while trying to cross the road near Pollachi.
Karunanidhi, who lived in Chinnampalayam area near Pollachi in Coimbatore district, has been working as an additional judge in the Nilgiris District Court.
In this case, he came from home to the grocery store on the Pollachi-Udumalai National Highway in his car.
Later, while trying to cross the road, the two-wheeler coming towards Pollachi rammed into Justice Karunanidhi and stopped. In this, Justice Karunanidhi, who was seriously injured, was rescued by the neighbors and sent in an ambulance.
But Justice Karunanidhi tragically died on the way to the hospital.
Following this, after examining the surveillance cameras at the scene, the police are investigating the person who ran away after hitting the two-wheeler on the judge.
