“When the case is pending, how can file petition as AIADMK General Secretary?” Madras High Court has questioned Edappadi Palaniswami.
Petitions were filed in the Madras High Court against the declaration of Edappadi Palaniswami as AIADMK General Secretary and against the resolutions of the General Assembly.
These petitions were filed by O. Panneer Selvam, Manoj Pandian, Vaithilingam and J. C. T. Prabhakar.
When this petition came up for hearing, it was informed by the petitioners that Edappadi Palaniswami, who was previously the co-coordinator and now the general secretary, filed a reply.
When the case is pending, the judge questioned Edappadi Palanichami as to how he could file a petition mentioning him as AIADMK General Secretary.
After Edappadi Palaniswami apologized for this, the judge adjourned the hearing to August 7.
