Members of the Indian Olympic Committee, which guides the athletes participating in the Paris Olympics, have said that they do not want the central government’s subsidy.
They said they took this decision because they already have a strong economic background. It is noteworthy that the members of the Olympic Committee are paid 300 dollars per day i.e. 25 thousand Indian rupees and 1000 dollars each, i.e. about 90 thousand rupees for staying in Paris for five days.
