This month, police conducted 449 intelligence-based raids in cities across Pakistan’s Punjab province.
The police received intelligence that terrorists are hiding in the eastern part of Pakistan’s Punjab province. Following this, the police from the country’s Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) launched an active search.
For this, 449 intelligence-based raids have been conducted in cities across Punjab this month. As part of this, 38 terrorists were arrested.
Many of them are members of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), members of the Al-Qaeda movement and the banned IS. They also belong to the organization.
A large quantity of explosives, grenades, weapons, mobile phones, foreign and local currency notes were also seized in the raid.
