RSS is in the process of rescuing the victims of natural calamity in Wayanad, Kerala. Seva Bharati organizers of the organization are involved. They are also carrying out the cremation of the deceased.
More than 200 people have died due to incessant rains and landslides in Wayanad, and many are missing.
The Army and the National Disaster Response Force are continuing to rescue those buried in the ground. Along with them, the RSS Seva Bharati organization is also involved in rescue work.
Rescue work is being carried out in Suramala area which was completely affected by the landslide. The Seva Bharati organization is carrying out the cremation of the bodies of the landslide victims using a temporary cremation platform. Similarly, service organizations from Nilgiri district are also involved in this rescue operation.
Seva Bharati organization has set up a relief center in Suramala area where the landslide occurred and is providing food to the people and is also carrying out the work of bringing the necessary items to them.
Not only Kerala, but also from neighboring states including Tamil Nadu, volunteers belonging to the Seva Bharati organization of RSS are camping in the landslide area and carrying out rescue and relief work along with the army and the National Disaster Response Force.
