Subsequently, Pooja Kethkar was removed from IAS training. In this regard, a one-man committee headed by Manoj Dwivedi, Additional Secretary, Central Personnel and Training Department, was formed and an investigation was conducted.

A letter was sent to Pooja Kethkar by UPSC asking him to give an explanation by July 25 regarding the complaints against Pooja Kethkar. However, following Pooja Kethkar’s request, the deadline was extended by another 5 days. But Pooja Kethkar did not give her explanation

Meanwhile, another startling scam came to light in the investigation of Pooja Kethkar. Pooja Kethkar appeared in the UPSC examination more times than allowed in the examination rules. For this, it was revealed during the investigation that he was selected as an IAS officer after writing the UPSC examination by concealing his identity.

UPSC has immediately canceled Pooja Kethkar’s exam and her selection for IAS post. UPSC has also barred him from appearing in the civil services exam in future.

Pooja Kethkar had filed an anticipatory bail plea in the Patiala court in Delhi as she was involved in many more fraud cases. Delhi court refuses to grant pre-trial bail to Pooja Kethkar.

Additional Judge Devender Kumar Jangala, who heard the case, ordered the Delhi Police to investigate whether anyone from the Central Government Staff Selection Commission helped Pooja Ketkar.

The judge also directed the Delhi Police to investigate who else, like Pooja Kethkar, has received unfair privileges in the reservation for OBCs and differently-abled persons.

In this situation, Pooja Kethkar’s mobile phone is switched off. No one knows where he has been for the past two weeks. Could not contact him.
