Identification of the Couple:
During the investigation, it was revealed that the man’s name was Chandra Mohan, who runs a car dealership business. The woman, identified as Dhanalakshmi, resides in Mylapore. Importantly, it was discovered that they were not married to each other but were in a relationship that extended beyond marriage.

During questioning, Chandra Mohan, faced with the situation and the presence of media cameras, expressed regret for his actions.
