The central government has announced to increase the loan limit under the Mudra scheme from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh.
While presenting the budget, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had announced that the credit limit of the Madhya MUTRA scheme for the financial year 2024-25 would be increased.
In this case, the Union Finance Ministry has issued an order. It states that the loan limit under the Prime Minister’s Mudra scheme is increased from Rs.10 lakh to Rs.20 lakh.
The central government has also said that this increase in loan amount will help entrepreneurs and their growth and expansion.
Under the Mudra scheme, loans up to Rs 50,000 under Shishu, Rs 5 lakh under Kishore and Rs 10 lakh under Tarun are already being provided, but under the new category Tarun Plus, the beneficiaries will be benefited.
The central government has announced that through Tarun Plus, one can get loan assistance of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh, and those who have already taken a loan up to Rs 10 lakh and have repaid it can also benefit from this.
