Sisters should participate in the BJP women’s team’s justice rally… Annamalai call…!

Tamil Nadu BJP State President Annamalai has called for widespread participation of women in a justice-seeking march organized by the party’s women’s wing, protesting the increasing sexual crimes against women in Tamil Nadu.

In his statement, he highlighted the following key points:

  1. Rising Sexual Crimes Against Women: Annamalai alleged that crimes against women in Tamil Nadu are on the rise. He accused the ruling DMK of delaying action in many cases, especially when the accused have connections to the party, and attempting to cover up such incidents.
  2. Anna University Student Case: Referring to the sexual assault case involving an Anna University student, Annamalai alleged that the DMK government is trying to suppress the truth, including the identity of a person linked to the accused DMK member through phone conversations.
  3. Anti-Women Actions of the DMK Government: He accused the government of humiliating the victim both publicly and in the Assembly. He claimed that the disclosure of the victim’s personal details aims to intimidate others from reporting such crimes, further alleging that these actions reflect a lack of moral responsibility by the DMK government.

To protest these alleged anti-women actions and demand justice in the Anna University case, the BJP women’s wing has organized a march from Madurai to Chennai. Annamalai has urged women to participate in large numbers to raise their voices for justice for the victim.
