“Not a typical politician”: PM Modi opens up on PODCAST program!

Participating for the first time in the popular Jerodha PODCAST program, Prime Minister Modi spoke openly about his political journey and various things that happened in his personal life.

Nikhil Kamath, co-founder of Jeroda, has interviewed Prime Minister Modi, who is admired by all world leaders. The video of the conversation, which lasted for about 2 hours, was released last Friday on a PODCAST program.

Insisting that ‘Nation First’ should be the motto for all, Prime Minister Modi openly shared many rare views on his guiding principles and the future of Indian politics.

Describing himself as “not a typical politician”, Prime Minister Modi has said that his primary focus is on governance rather than political activity.

Prime Minister Modi said that all those who participated in the freedom struggle did not become politicians, and explained that if someone wants to enter politics, it is not enough to have a goal, he should come with a purpose and a proper plan.

Also, Prime Minister Modi said that when he took office as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, he took three pledges.

He said that he will not leave any stone unturned in his endeavors, he will not do anything for himself, and he will not make mistakes with bad intentions.

Stating that he measures his success by building an efficient team that can handle responsibilities effectively, Prime Minister Modi has always said that he wants to continue preparing a team to do the work for the next 20 years.

Through this dialogue, Prime Minister Modi has made it clear that “minimum government, maximum administration” does not mean cutting ministries or staff, but streamlining processes.

Stating that the Godhra riots took place on February 27, 2002, on the third day of his first election as a member of the Legislative Assembly, PM Modi said that there were blasts at five places in one day and that the authorities refused to take the Chief Minister as there was only a single-engine helicopter, and he was responsible for whatever happened. He argued that he immediately went to Godhra.

Referring to the visa denial by the US, Prime Minister Modi described the visa denial as a disrespect to an elected government and the country and said in a press conference that there will come a time when the world will wait in queues for Indian visas. Prime Minister Modi also said that after 20 years of visa denial, India’s time has begun.

PM Modi mentioned that his dreams have expanded into Modi 3.0 and the ideal is to create a “Vixit Bharat” by 2047.

Recalling his school days, Prime Minister Modi described him as an ordinary student who studied to pass and excelled in activities beyond academics.

Appreciating his life’s struggles as his “university”, Prime Minister Modi said that even though he could not join the military school due to financial crisis in his family, he did not lose his morale.

Prime Minister Modi has said that he is lucky not to have lived a comfortable and comfortable life, that is why he has been able to know what to do when, and that is why even the little things that have happened in his life give him satisfaction.
