Modi became Prime Minister for the 3rd consecutive time – 71 Union Ministers took office

BJP alone has won 240 seats. No party got the required 272 seats to form the government. So BJP has formed the government this time with the support of coalition parties.

“Narendra Modi took oath as the Prime Minister of the country for the 3rd consecutive time. President Thirupati Murmu administered the oath of office to him. After him, 71 people were sworn in as Union Ministers. President Thirupati Murmu administered the oath of office to all of them. The swearing-in ceremony lasted for more than two and a half hours at 10 p.m. Ended at 1 p.m.

Nirmala Sitharaman, Jaishankar and L. Murugan from Tamil Nadu have taken office as ministers. Details of the Ministers who took office yesterday along with the Prime Minister are as follows:-
