Annamalai alleges that Tamil Nadu continues to lag behind in industrial investment

BJP state president Annamalai has alleged that Tamil Nadu continues to lag behind in industrial investment.

In a post on his X page, he said that 2,000 workers have lost their jobs due to the sudden closure of an IT company operating in Coimbatore.

Stating that the IT employees who worked in this company were not given salaries and original documents, Annamalai accused the Tamil Nadu Industries Minister of not making efforts to retain investors.

Pointing out that 2 startups have recently relocated from Coimbatore to Bengaluru, Annamalai questioned what happened to the Rs. 6,000 crore attracted at the investor conference held in Dubai in 2022.

He also said that it is not surprising that Tamil Nadu did not get investment at the investor conference held in Davos, Switzerland.
