The BJP will conduct a signature campaign across Tamil Nadu from March 1st for 90 days to seek opinions on the trilingual policy and will take stock of the situation and submit a report to the President, Annamalai said.
Annamalai explained that the special feature of the new education policy is giving priority to the mother tongue and that Hindi has not been imposed anywhere in Tamil Nadu; nor will it be imposed.
We are only saying that some Indian language should be studied as a third language, and that the trilingual policy does not mean the imposition of Hindi.
