The 50th Golden Jubilee Celebration and 46th Annual Religious Class Anniversary of the renowned Sri Krishna Paramatma Temple in Perai Palakkavilai, Kanyakumari district, were conducted with grandeur. The highlight of the event, the Punarprathishta (Reinstallation) and Maha Kumbabhishekam, began on the 8th of this month and was performed today with great devotion.
The Punarprathishta and Maha Kumbabhishekam was led by Brahmasri Thekkedathu Mana Narayanan Vishnu Namboodiri, the former chief priest (Melshanti) of Sabarimala. As Vedic scholars chanted sacred hymns, the holy fire rituals (homas) were performed in the ritual fire pits (homa kundams). Following this, the sacred water (Kumbas) was carried in a grand procession and ceremoniously poured over the temple’s Rajagopuram, Vimanam, and the sanctum sanctorum (Moolavar Sannidhi), marking the completion of the Maha Kumbabhishekam.
After the sacred Kumbabhishekam, a grand Deeparadhana (auspicious lamp worship) was performed. Following this, a Kumbabhishekam felicitation event was held, where several spiritual leaders, religious scholars, and Hindu organization representatives participated.

The auspicious celebration witnessed an overwhelming participation of devotees who arrived in large numbers to seek the blessings of Sri Krishna Paramatma. The well-organized rituals and the divine atmosphere left devotees filled with immense spiritual joy and fulfillment.
