Central Home and Cooperatives Minister Amit Shah chaired a high-level consultative meeting on the ‘Vibrant Villages Project’ in Delhi.
The central government is implementing the Vibrant Villages program to improve the livelihood of the border villagers. In this regard, in a high-level committee meeting held in Delhi, Union Minister Amit Shah said that in order to avoid migration of people along the border for employment, employment should be created in their habitations.
Amit Shah also emphasized that the Central Armed Police Force deployed along the border should purchase goods from local cooperatives and raise the livelihood of the people in the area.
