A new outbreak of Sandipura virus in Gujarat is spreading in various districts. According to Gujarat Health Minister Rushikesh Patel, 14 people have been affected in Himmadpur area.
7 of them have been admitted for treatment. He said that 3 people who have been affected by the virus have come from other states.
A total of 50 people have been affected in Gujarat. He said that 16 people have died. Following this, information about this has been sent to every village and social welfare center.
Similarly, the Chief Minister also held meetings with Collectors, Principal District Health Officer and dignitaries from medical colleges.
He reviewed the vulnerability and the measures taken to control the spread of the virus.
