OBS and EPS have announced that the Chennai and Coimbatore zones of the AIADMK IT division will be revised for administrative convenience.
AIADMK Co-ordinator O. Panneerselvam and Co-Coordinator Edappadi Palanisamy have jointly issued a statement in this regard.
The districts of Chennai and Coimbatore zones which are already functioning considering the administrative facility of the Information Technology Division will be revised and functioning as follows from today.
Districts under Chennai Zone: North Chennai North (East and West), North Chennai South (East and West), South Chennai North (East and West), South Chennai South (East and West), Chennai Suburbs, Kanchipuram, Chengalpattu East and West , Tiruvallur (North, Central, South, East, West).
Districts under Coimbatore Zone: Coimbatore Bailiff, Coimbatore Suburban North and South, Tirupur Bailiff, Tirupur Suburban East and West, Erode Bailiff, Erode Suburban, Nilgiris, Theni, Dindigul East and West, Cuddalore East, Central and West.
AIADMK spokesperson M. Kovai Sathyan has been appointed as the secretary of the Chennai regional IT division from today.
