Nellai District Secretary Paramasiva Iyappan, who contested from Nanguneri constituency, has left the AMMK and joined the DMK.
The AMMK, led by DTV Dinakaran, formed an alliance with DMDK and contested the assembly elections. The coalition failed to win a single constituency. In many places the deposit is empty. Dinakaran, who contested in Kovilpatti, and Premalatha, who contested in Virudhachalam, embraced defeat. The failure of the AMMK-DMDK alliance has caused a stir among the volunteers.
In this context, AMMK former Nellai District Secretary Paramasivan Iyappan has joined the DMK in the presence of former Speaker Avudaiyappan son Prabhakaran.
Paramasiva Iyappan, who was initially in the DMK, was the District Councilor from 2006 to 2011. He was later elected District Councilor in the 2011 local elections. He later joined the AIADMK. After Jayalalithaa’s demise, Paramasiva Iyappan, who was a supporter of DTV Dinakaran, joined the Aam AMMK. Nellai was later appointed District Secretary. In the last Lok Sabha elections, he contested in Virudhunagar constituency and Nanguneri constituency and got substantial votes. Is significant. In this context, The change of party has shocked DTV Dhinakaran’s party.
