Anand Sharma has been booked under section 3 for cheating and raping a Coimbatore woman.
Dhanalakshmi, a resident of Coimbatore Peelamedu, has returned to India after working abroad. Dhanalakshmi, who is separated from her husband and lives with their three children, has posted her details on the internet as she is more interested in the profession.
Anand Sharma, who approached him professionally, was closely acquainted with him. Dhanalakshmi, who is friendly with Anand, takes advantage of her husband’s separation and is accustomed to divorce his wife. Meanwhile, Anand’s friendship has been a good consolation for Dhanalakshmi. At one point both decided to get married.
One day Anand and Dhanalakshmi went abroad and Anand raped Dhanalakshmi saying that he was getting married. The confusion in the words of Dhanalakshmi Anand came to the fore only later. It turns out that Anand, who was married and divorced, cheated on the women and lived happily ever after.
Subsequently, the National Commission for Women (NCW) recommended that the police investigate Anand, who cheated on her by marrying her.
Thereafter Thanalakshmi lodged a complaint at Coimbatore Central All Women Police Station. Anand has been accused of raping a hotel room in Coimbatore and threatening to kill Dhanalakshmi. The investigation continues.
