Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has stated that language should not be used for political purposes.

Speaking in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly on the language issue, he emphasized that language is merely a tool for communication and that intelligence does not develop solely because of language.

He pointed out that those who have excelled globally have received their education in their mother tongue and that learning in one’s native language is easier.

Stressing that language should not be a cause for hatred, he noted that Hindi, the national language, and English, an international language, are widely used.

Furthermore, Chandrababu Naidu asserted that politicizing language is unnecessary and encouraged learning multiple languages for broader benefits.
