Arjun Kapoor Feels Proud of Sonam Kapoor, Rhea: ‘You Both Keep Raising the Standard’
Sonam Kapoor recently turned heads with her fashionable appearance at the Wimbledon 2025 Men’s Singles Final.
The original trendsetter and Bollywood star Sonam Kapoor attended the Wimbledon 2025 Men’s Singles Final in style. Her outfit was curated by her sister and celebrated stylist Rhea Kapoor, alongside Chandni Modha and assistant Sanya Kapoor. Sonam dazzled in a complete Ralph Lauren outfit—featuring a striped, faded jacket and matching trousers teamed with a soft blue shirt—delivering an unmistakable boss-lady aura.
Now, Arjun Kapoor is full of admiration seeing his cousin sisters making big strides. Celebrating their achievement, the actor took to Instagram to share his joy. Posting a story featuring Sonam, he wrote:
“@sonamkapoor & @rheakapoor. As a brother, and someone who has witnessed both of you grow in life and career, it fills me with joy to see how you constantly raise the standard with each passing year… Keep going strong, @britishvogue and @sonamkapoor.”
Recalling her Wimbledon experience, Sonam shared with British Vogue, “I’ve always had a love for sports, and Wimbledon in particular stood out to me. It’s graceful, cultured, and fashionable—a perfect blend of sports and style, which resonates with who I am.”
On the professional front
Arjun Kapoor last featured in Mere Husband Ki Biwi, a romantic comedy helmed by Mudassar Aziz. The film starred Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead female roles. Despite the buzz, it underperformed at the box office due to a weak storyline.
Up next, he is preparing for No Entry 2, a much-awaited comedy directed by Anees Bazmee. The movie also stars Diljit Dosanjh and Varun Dhawan and is being produced by Boney Kapoor. It’s set for a theatrical release this Diwali, on October 26.
Sonam Kapoor, meanwhile, is ready to return to the silver screen with Battle of Bittora, adapted from Anuja Chauhan’s 2010 best-selling novel. Backed by Anil Kapoor Film and Communication Network, the story revolves around two young politicians who, despite being in love, find themselves competing against each other in a heated election campaign.
