Armstrong’s Wife Porkodi Removed from Bahujan Samaj Party State Coordinator Post

Porkodi, wife of the late Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) state president Armstrong, has been removed from her position as the state coordinator of the party. After Armstrong was brutally murdered last year, his wife was appointed to the role in a gesture of continuity and respect.

However, in a recent turn of events, the BSP leadership has officially announced that Porkodi will no longer be involved in party affairs. The party’s statement said, “Porkodi will henceforth focus solely on her family and children. She will not participate in party responsibilities moving forward.”

This development follows a controversial incident during a party executive committee meeting last week, where Porkodi, along with her supporters, raised serious allegations against current state president Anandan. She reportedly accused Anandan of acting in a discriminatory and hostile manner toward her and formally complained to senior party leaders.

The internal conflict sent shockwaves within the party, and it is believed to have played a key role in the decision to strip Porkodi of her post.

The removal of Porkodi has now raised questions about internal politics within the BSP. Many had viewed her appointment as a symbolic continuation of Armstrong’s legacy, but her ouster reveals deeper divisions and power struggles within the party ranks.
