How did the Pakistani terrorists who attacked in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bagalgam enter India? How long did they stay in India? Who gave shelter to the terrorists? Information has been released. Let’s see the information about it.
Pakistani terrorists shot dead 26 unarmed tourists in the Baisaran Valley area of Pagalgam, Kashmir, on April 22, after confirming that they were Hindus. AK-47 and M-14 CARPINE rifle cartridges have been recovered from the scene of the attack.
The security forces have released sketches of the terrorists based on eyewitnesses to the attack.
The terrorists who were responsible for the attack are Adil Hussain Thokar from Jammu and Kashmir and Hashim Musa and Ali Bhai from Pakistan.
Musa and Ali, who infiltrated into India from Pakistan, have been roaming around Kashmir for about two years. Adil Hussain Thokar is said to have acted as a guide for the terrorists.
Musa, who entered India through Samba and Kathua in 2023, has migrated to Kishtwar city. He is said to have later stayed in Budgam district near Srinagar.
Ali, who infiltrated into India after Musa, is hiding in the Tachigam forests on the outskirts of Srinagar. The Tachigam forests, which are spread out as dense mountain forests, are connected to the Pahalgam valleys. Initial investigations have revealed that Adil Hussain Thokar, a local, planned the Pahalgam attack along with these two terrorists.
Adil Hussain Thokar, a postgraduate from Gurre village in Bijbehara, 50 km from Srinagar, had been associated with Islamic religious organisations during his college days.
Adil Hussain Thokar, who regularly attended the funerals of terrorists killed by the Indian Army, left his home in 2018 and went to Pakistan on a student visa.
Once in Pakistan, he completely cut off contact with his family and took weapons training from Pakistani terrorist organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba.
The terrorists also smuggled weapons through Kashmiri workers who helped them enter India. After entering Jammu and Kashmir, they reached the Baisaran Valley after a gruelling 22-hour journey from Kokarnag to Pahalgam.
The Pakistani terrorists launched the attack after calculating that it would take about 45 minutes for the security forces to reach the road near the Rashtriya Rifles Division, another 5 minutes to reach Faisalabad, and at least an hour for the central CRPF to arrive.
The terrorists involved in the Bagalgam terror attack are believed to have fled and are hiding in dense forests including Poonch-Rajori, Doda, and Kishtwar. Security forces are engaged in an intensive search operation to arrest the terrorists.
Meanwhile, the house of Adil Hussain Thokar was blown up using IEDs. It is said that explosives were planted inside the house. Also, the houses of four terrorists, including Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Shahid Ahmed Kutte, were demolished with bulldozers.
Fourteen terrorists have been identified as being affiliated with three major Pakistan-backed terror outfits – Hizbul Mujahideen, Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). Out of these, three are said to be affiliated with Hizbul Mujahideen, eight with Lashkar-e-Taiba and three with Jaish-e-Mohammed.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is actively working to identify the links between these 14 terrorists and the five terrorists involved in the Daytime attack.
The NIA is actively working to completely dismantle the network supporting cross-border terrorism. Prime Minister Modi’s vow to track down and punish terrorists wherever they hide on earth is expected to be fulfilled soon.
