As Pushpa Impossible Completes Three Years, Karuna Pandey Describes It As A Unique Blessing
Karuna shared that portraying such a layered and down-to-earth character has significantly influenced her perspective on life too.
Pushpa Impossible continues to captivate viewers with its uplifting depiction of Pushpa, a determined woman portrayed by Karuna Pandey, who tackles life’s hardships with steady hope. As the popular series marks three successful years, Karuna Pandey reflects on the incredible path her character has taken and the personal and professional influence it has had on her.
Speaking to ETimes, the actress expressed, “It’s been a fantastic ride. Pushpa started out as a woman looking for her husband, but through the journey, she found herself — beginning a business, going back to school, and now studying law. Her evolution is truly motivating, and I’m both proud and thankful to portray her story. Such shows are uncommon, and I truly feel fortunate.”
Karuna emphasized that playing such a nuanced and authentic role has deeply shaped her view of the world. “She’s powerful, imperfect, and genuine like many women around us,” she said. “Her determination, purity, and willingness to learn from her errors have taught me a lot. I felt a connection with her right from the start, and I’ve evolved alongside her throughout,” she added.
In spite of the demanding nature of television work, Karuna stays passionate about her art. She mentioned that acting never feels like a chore to her. Furthermore, the actress is mindful of how unpredictable the entertainment field can be and admits to having faced many highs and lows, but doesn’t let them define her. She said, “I believe in adapting to change rather than resisting it. Focusing on the moment helps keep me balanced. Real stability comes from inside. I put in my absolute best, knowing nothing lasts forever. I don’t run after fame or recognition — I stay committed to my work. That mindset has helped me remain grounded.”
The show features Karuna Pandey alongside Darshan Gurjar, Garima Parihar, and others. It debuted on Sony SAB on June 6, 2022, and is produced by Jamnadas Majethia under the Hats Off Productions banner.
